Crooks that work in the crowd, streets filled with scammers that are looking for your PIN number, or even modern age pirats that scour oceans are just few of the things you can encounter during your travel. Recently there was a terrorist attack in Norway, then unrests at streets of London, America and across Europe. It seems that there are no safe location in the world. This country is popular among backpackers. Although the work on removing the bad picture is constantly in progress, due to crime rate and negative media campaign, Columbia still has bad reputation. Most reported crimes are kidnappings and robberies in the part of the country that is under control of FARC (Revolutionary armed forces of Columbia). This country holds the grim second place by the number of land mines. Hold to the “safe” areas. In Bogota, tourists don`t have problems, and risk is no greater then in any large city in the world. Would be smart to evade rural areas.

Decades of war have changed the picture about this country and reduced the importance of lovely landscapes and important archaeological sites. Should you go? Probably not. Although there are areas open for traveling, you should probably skip this one.

Iraq should be most visited destination in Middle East, rare are the brave ones that come here just for tourism. Although there are no more wars here, bombs, terrorists and kidnappings are common sight. It would be best to delay your visit for few years. Situation is improving, and tourism is starting again. Still, we wouldn’t recommend going there just yet.

Crime is in slight rise, but number of rapes is huge! Should you go? Yes. There are dangerous sides, but you should keep in mind that those bad things happen only in certain areas. Stick to urban zones, use caution and everything will be just fine.
This is heaven for climbers - here is the one of the highest peaks in the world among the other great mountains in the northern part. Still, there are some terrorist attacks, and tourists are also repeled by presence of Talibans and Al-Qaeda. Should you go? Maybe. SAD and UK advise their citizens not to go.

Country is living through worst drought in past 60 years, and 12 mil. people is starving. Should you go? No, if you`re not part of some humanitarian group.
