It was long, long ago – “Top Gear” was first shown on the BBC 2 channel in 1977. The first presenters were Noel Edmonds and William Woollard. Other members of the team included Sue Barker, a well known tennis player and Tony Mason a rally co-driver. Jeremy Clarkson joined the “Top Gear” team in 1988.  Quentin Willson was co-host with Jeremy  between 1991-2001. After a two year lay-off, “Top Gear” returned in 2002 with Jeremy as co-host with James May and Richard Hammond… I know, just bunch of facts. This British TV show is so adored that is just amazing!
